Try having
students work through several questions within some of the topics in Study
Island and then run a Suggested Topics Report. You can run this
report based on individual student or class. This report provides you
with data that allows you to view the areas where your students have strengths
as well as where they are weaker. Topics where students struggle will be
categorized as high priority, whereas areas of mastery and proficiency will be
categorized separately. Using this information, you can set up tutoring or small
group lessons that pinpoint the areas where students need the most help. To run a Suggested Topics Report for an individual student:
- On the School Stats page, select the report type “Individual Student Report”
- Select the Class, Student, Grade Level Program and Subject
- Filter by date, time or day (optional)
- Click “View Report”
- Once the report loads, click the blue button to the top right of the report
that says “Suggested Topics”.
