Matching Game to Lesson Content

When students login to Everyday Math Online, they are able to select the online game that matches the lesson you are teaching by adjusting the Unit and Lesson in the upper left corner of the webpage. See the attached tip sheet for more details.
The tip sheet also includes a screenshot showing how you can login as a student to demonstrate this quick and easy process!

Promethean Planet

If you have elected to use the ActivInspire software for the Everyday Math ePresentations, you may wish to join Promethean Planet to gain access to many additional interactive flipcharts created by the user community. See below for links and details.

Promethean Planet
Before you start to use ActivInspire, you may wish to use the ActivInspire tutorials available from ActivLearning, to help you get started as quickly as possible.

Promethean Planet Resources offer free resources such as teacher made flipcharts, pictures, sounds and backgrounds for you to download and use in your flipcharts.  Low cost premium resources can be purchased from the Promethean Planet shop.

Create a Class

Once students are uploaded.
  • Login at http://everydaymathonline.com 
  • Click Class Builder at the top right.
  • Click Add Class if your class does not already appear in the drop down.
  • Name the Class if you newly created it.
  • Move students from the Students in School side to your class. You may select a bunch and then click the > arrow.
  • If students are missing, contact Shari Dusman at the help desk for assistance.
Next click Student Passwords at the top to display the class list. You can then click the Print Entire Class Login Cards button.  Teachers may edit the password to a different 3 digit number from this screen before printing the cards.
The username is their firstnamelastinitial and a number. (EX: michellek3) and the password is a 3 digit number. (EX: 332) 

Note: Students may only be in one class at a time.
